Sparkle Ministries was birthed out of Carol Brown’s God given passion and desire to help women heal from dark and broken places. Through a holistic journey and pathway to healing and restoration women are encouraged to seek healing in their body, soul, and spirit. The journey is based on Mark’s gospel narrative of the woman with an issue of blood found in chapter five. After many years of sickness, suffering and pain, the desperate woman embraced the healing power of Jesus and was healed. Like the woman who had suffered for twelve years with an issue of Blood, Carol suffered with pain for twenty-one years before being healed of endometriosis.
Carol Brown is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where she was educated in the public school system. She holds a BA in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University (Virginia). Carol also earned a M.Div. in Pastoral Care and Counseling (McAfee School of Theology) and a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University (Georgia).
She is a Mental Health Professional and has worked with diverse populations. She works to help others find a glimpse of hope and a spark of light in the midst of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual bondages.
She is intimately connected to the journeys, struggles and issues that arise for women today and was inspired to create a way for women to learn, connect, empower and heal.
